Hello, I'm Kristin. For many years as a creative, actor and producer I have held a lifelong fascination for how the body mind and soul functions. Why we are built the way we are built. And through my own experiences with art, anxieties, depression, developmental trauma, ADHD, CPTSD and RSD I found the simple understanding of it all in somatic therapy and understanding trauma and our nervous systems.Through somatic work, I help people reconnect with themselves in a grounded, gentle, and body-led way. My approach blends nervous system education, trauma-informed practices, and embodied awareness to support you in releasing old patterns, finding safety within, and returning to a more spacious, calm, confident and more regulated version of you. This is a space for slowing down, feeling more, and meeting yourself with compassion — one breath, one moment, one safe shift at a time.
After more than 30 years on this planet, and what felt like a lifetime of talk therapy, self-analysis, and antidepressants. I still didn’t truly understand myself. I couldn’t answer the deeper questions:
Why do I make the choices I make?
Why am I terrified of some things and fearless with others?
Why do certain patterns keep repeating, no matter how much I “know better”?
What the &^% am I actually even feeling?!Then everything shifted when I began learning about the nervous system and trauma. What trauma really is (big/small - and not the event but what happens in the body), our unquestioned upbringing, our invisible culture and the moments we never realised left a mark. I discovered that even a seemingly simple experience, like being laughed at in class, can keep the nervous system stuck in a dysregulated state (fight, flight or freeze - anxious/avoidant or shut down). From there, we can build internal belief systems that feel like truth:
I’m not enough. I’m not lovable. I don’t deserve better.
But these aren’t truths — they’re wounds.Somatic therapy taught me that the body can release these stored patterns, heal wounds and return to regulation. As the nervous system heals, new beliefs and possibilities open up. In my own life, this transformed years of anxiety, low self-worth, and distrust into self-awareness, understanding, compassion and confidence. I began making new choices — clear, grounded, joyful ones. And a world that I once distrusted, felt unseen by became one I could now have in my control. This experience changed everything for me. And it’s what led me to become a somatic practitioner: because I know what’s possible. I know the freedom that comes from reconnecting with yourself, understanding your patterns, and finally feeling safe in your own body. Now, I help others find that same sense of connection, worth, and nervous-system freedom. If you’re curious about whether somatic work might support you too, you’re welcome to book a free 15-minute Discovery & Connection call.

Somatic practices can be especially helpful for people who are:- Navigating anxiety, depression, or ongoing stress- Struggling with low self-worth or feeling “not enough”- Stuck in repeating life patterns or situations that don’t feel aligned- Overwhelmed by emotional triggers or feeling “set off” easily- Parents feeling stretched, reactive, or disconnected- Carrying childhood wounds or younger parts that still need safety- Feeling lost, burnt out, or moving through a “dark night of the soul”- Wanting to rebuild trust in themselves, their voice, and their inner guidance- Craving more calm, confidence, clarity, or emotional regulationImportant Note: I’m a somatic practitioner, not a psychologist.
If you’re in crisis or experiencing severe mental distress, please seek help from a qualified mental health professional or emergency services. Somatic work can support your healing journey — but it is not a substitute for clinical care when it’s needed.
Somatic practices are body-based therapeutic tools that help you reconnect with your nervous system, release stored stress and trauma, and build a felt sense of safety within yourself.
Instead of endlessly analysing your thoughts, somatic work helps you tune into the body’s signals, the places that hold tension, emotion, memory, and protective patterns, and gently guide them back into balance.Somatic therapy isn’t about diving into discomfort or pushing yourself into anything overwhelming.
It is slow, safe, trauma-informed work.
You set the pace.
Nothing is ever forced.
Your comfort level is always the priority. This is a completely judgment-free space. All of you is welcome here.

I’ve walked through my own dark nights — the shadows, the confusion, the questions, the deep internal unraveling.
Because of that, I support people with compassion, steadiness, and true understanding. I’m not here to fix you or pull you somewhere you’re not ready to go. I’m here to gently guide you back to yourself, at your pace, in your timing, with care.If you’re curious about whether this work could support you, you’re welcome to book a free 15-minute Discovery & Connection call.Or email: [email protected]In person appointments in Greendale, Victoria, Australia 3341.
